 To provide our farmers and ranchers ease of access to schools, healthcare, and banks. We need to invest in community health centers and increase access to quality health care through Medicare for All. 

To protect their land, their legacy, and the production of valuable goods to sell in our economy. We seek to provide farmers with the right to control their land, and to lock our foreign investors and their housing development practices.

To provide access to affordable broadband internet for the entire district. With work, school, and social events going virtual, it is crucial now more than ever to ensure that the people of District 1 have reliable internet access. 

To provide a living wage and workers' rights for everyone. Mia will create jobs through the building of sustainable infrastructure and manufacturing, and renewable energy sources on the Eastern Shore. She wants to ensure farmers a universal basic income. 

Mia will ensure corporate agriculture doesn’t buy out debt from families to make them fold. We must provide farms with a pathway to access to better technologies in automated systems or services that are still done manually today.

To provide farmers with incentives for implementing sustainable agricultural practices. Mia wants to invest in biofuel, solar, and wind energy to transition to clean energy and create jobs on the Eastern Shore.
